Resilience in Higher Education, focus of the European project awarded to the University of Granada. The Erasmus+KA2 RESUPERES project: “Intervention Proposal for the development of Resilience in Higher Education. Overcoming adversities”, which will take place between 2022-2025, is coordinated by the Faculty of Education Sciences of the University of Granada and has a total budget of 291.138€.
RESUPERES aims to promote a change in European education and training policies. For this, the main objective is the design, analysis and evaluation of a pilot study on resilience. This will be articulated through an Intervention Program in the educational context of Higher Education in the different participating institutions with the ultimate goal of creating a transversal subject in university studies where constructs of resilience are developed, such as coping, self-concept , self-esteem, and leadership, through the areas of corporal expression, physical and sports education, art and communication, music, scenic and cultural arts.
The RESUPERES project is coordinated by María del Mar Cepero González, Professor of the Department of Didactics of Musical, Plastic and Corporal Expression of the Faculty of Educational Sciences of the University of Granada, and has an interdisciplinary team made up of professors from said faculty (Rosario Padial, Félix Zurita, Pedro Valdivia, José Luis Ubago, Antonio Pérez, José Joaquín Muros, Diego Collado, Juan Carlos de la Cruz Campos-FCCE and Deporte de Melilla-, Laura García (FPU), Silvia Zamorano and Fátima Chacón Borrego, external staff University of Seville), from the Faculty of Sports Sciences (Francisco Javier Rojas Ruiz, Juan Carlos de la Cruz, Amador García Ramos, Alejandro Pérez Castilla and Andrés Fernández Revelles), from the E.T.S. Computer Engineering and Telecommunications (Ignacio Rojas and Fernando Rojas) and the Department of Applied Mathematics (Olga Valenzuela). In addition, the Higher School of Education and Communication (ESEC) of the University of Algarve (Portugal), the Universitá degli Studi Suor Orsola Benincasa-Napoli (Italy), the University of Belgrade (Serbia) and the Western Norway University of Applied Sciences are participating.
