First Multiplier Event - Theoretical and Practical Dissemination of Resilience

The first Multiplier Event of the RESUPERES project focused on sharing project resources, including the RESUPERES Manual (Result 1) and the RESUPERES Webpage - Interactive Platform (Result 2), with the wider European Higher Education community, as well as relevant organizations and professionals.

Organized by the Western Norway University of Applied Sciences, the event took place in Bergen on May 25 and 26, 2023 in a hybrid format, with attendees online and in person. It opened with a keynote address by Prof. Carolina Sousa (University of Algarve), on the emerging role of resilience in Higher Education.

This was followed by Prof. Olivera Knezevic (University of Belgrade), who introduced the RESUPERES project, detailing its objectives, outcomes, activities, and and the importance and novelty of its object of study. Prof. Hugo Mártires (UALg) then presented the RESUPERES Manual, while Andrés Fernández Revelles and Javier Rojas (University of Granada) introduced the Interactive Platform, which is still in development. The event concluded with presentations and workshops led by the RESUPERES team, showcasing the project's activities.

Second Multiplier Event - International Congress RESUPERES

The second Multiplier Event of the project, organized by the University of Algarve, took place in Faro on January 20 and 21, 2025.

The event covered all RESUPERES resources, with attendees learning how to utilize and adapt the Training Programme, the APP, the Manual, and the RESUPERES Subject to suit their own institutional contexts and priorities. Additionally, participants had the opportunity to explore the Interactive Platform, where the RESUPERES Training Programme is hosted.

The event consisted of a series of conferences, workshops and communications, showcasing the progress and results of the entire project. The event was held in a hybrid format, with attendees participating both online and in person. The event featured the prominent presence of neuropsychiatrist Boris Cyrulnik, a renowned author of several popular science books on psychology and numerous award-winning clinical articles in the literary field. He is well-known in France for developing and popularizing the concept of Psychological Resilience. In 2008, he received the prestigious Prix Renaudot de l'Essai, and in 2020, he was honored with the title of Commander of the Legion of Honor.

The event was a resounding success, with the participation of over 300 professionals from education and other sectors. More information
