Norway is known for beautiful nature and Norwegians hold nature in high esteem. Nowegians love their nature and are proud of it. Outdoor life is a fundamental part of Norwegian culture, and we spend time in the mountains all year around.
The west coast of Norway, where HVL is located, is known for spectacular nature. With mountains and fjords close to all five campuses, you will be able to combine outdoor life with studies and city life.
HVL has students from all around the world. We offer both exchange studies for a semester and full time master degree studies for international students. HVL has vibrant campuses with many meeting points and acitivites.
All five campuses have a Global Lounge, an activity space at each HVL campus where you can meet other international and Norwegian students and enjoy fun activities together.

● Bergen hosts HVLs biggest campus located in Norways second largest city. As a student in Bergen, you will experience the best Norway has to offer, with vibrant city life in the midst of the mountains.
● Førde is a small city in Western Norway with an including and vibrant student life. As a student in Førde, you will be surrounded by mountains and fantastic nature, as well as being close to the sea.
● Haugesund is a charming city that has everything a student could ask for within the vicinity of the campus. The city is buzzing with exciting cultural festivals and events throughout the year.
● Sogndal is surrounded by fjord and mountains and is the perfect place to experience all the different sides of what nature has to offers, or to enjoy the different student activities.
● Stord is close to nature and campus is located right near the ocean. With dedicated teachers, wonderful internships and a variety of activities Stord is a great place to study.

Bevegelsesanalyse og belastning for ulike spillerposisjoner gjennom GPS tracking av fotballspillere ( BBSF) De senere årene har det blitt utviklet nye tekniske verktøy for posisjons- og bevegelsesanalyser som er tatt i bruk blant toppklubber i fotball. Internasjonal forskning viser blant annet at forflytningen blant spillerne skjer raskere nå enn tidligere. Det er gjort få studier i Norge vedrørende fysiske belastninger og spillerposisjoner. David Gabriel Hebert.
Department of Arts Education. Professor. David G. Hebert, PhD has held a tenured appointment since 2011 as the first full Professor of Music Education in Bergen, a city known as the “gateway to the fjords” and birthplace of composer Edvard Grieg. Dr. Hebert works full-time for Western Norway University of Applied Sciences, where he leads the Grieg Academy Music Education (GAME) research group, and is manager of the Nordic Network for Music Education, a Nordplus state-funded organization that coordinates Master classes and exchange of teachers and students across eight Northern European nations. An ethnomusicologist and comparative education researcher, he is also Honorary Professor in China with the Education University of Hong Kong. Prof. Hebert is a Board Member of the International Society for Music Education, and Chair of its History Standing Committee. He was also a founder and leader of the Historical Ethnomusicology section of the Society for Ethnomusicology (of which he is a Life member). He recently was a keynote speaker for China's National Conference on Music and Arts Education, the German-Dutch Colloquium on Research in Arts Education, and the East African Teacher Education Symposium. As a musician, his latest project is the Sympathetic Resonance Trio.
